I just started dating this guy ..like a week ago..I know he haas intentions of having sex. But I'm not ready for that yet. I want him to get to me know me as a person. But truthfully I want to wait till I'm married. I really like this guy..but I dont want to scare him away. What should I do??

Tell him what you are telling everyone. And i pray that he understand you and he gets to know you better than yourself!

Let him know how you feel. If he is only interested in sexual relations then he isnt worth your time anyways. Obviously you have great intentions for yourself and that is all that you need in life. Sex is highly overrated and I wouldnt suggest starting it now with someone you have just met. Alot of people take it for granted and is now suffering from alot of diseases.
Hang out and have fun. Dont depend on sexual desires to keep a relationship alive, no matter who its with. If you decide to be sexual with this guy or any other person, then just do it when you feel you are ready. Dont let people take your life in their hands, because most of them dont care about you as a person. Only you can help yourself and you will thank yourself later on when you know its right. If you really want to wait, then wait. Make it a public thing that people learn early on when getting to know you. It will save you wasting your time with someone who doesn't want the same thing and this is an important issue to agree on. Mutual goals and feelings are equally important in lasting relationships. Tell him... now.

truth is he may only be after the sex and not interested in being with you. its only been a week!!! cant you see that? find someone else who will treat you with respect and love you for who you are. but if you really like him than tell him that your not ready. tell him you want him to know you as a person. if he respects you than he will wait til your ready.

I would take a stand with him and let him know your feelings on the subject. If he gives you a problem with it, he is not the person you want to give it up to anyway. Be your own person, don't be led by others, you will be happier in the long run.

tell him you are not ready and tell him you want to wait till you are married or till you are ready. if he isnt a jerk he will accept that and stay with you if not he will leave you and then you will know he was only dating you for one thing.

I applaud your high standards. If he will not raise himself to your standard, then you need to consider moving on. Giving in just to not "scare" him away will only bring misery and low self esteem. Guard your virtue with your very life. If he truly is interested in you and not just a notch on his bed post then he'll respect your standards and bring himself up to meet you not you lowering to meet him.

Be honest, if he likes you he won't care that you want to wait, if he is only with you for the sex, then you will know by his reaction.

Communication since the beggening, being honest and say what you want. If he doesn't understand is not worth for you to give him your heart and body.
