While the evidence for the Big Bang model is completely overwhelming and has been for quite a while now. We still are left with many unanswered questions interpreting exactly what all this means. Exactly What is dark matter? What is dark energy? Is the universe finite or infinite? Why do we have a surplus of matter versus anti-matter etc. Funding for similar projects to investigate these questions has been held up because of the current administrations lack of commitment to science. Indeed one could make the argument the current administration is anti-science. Hopefully the next administration will be led by a president who didn't learn his science from the writings of ancient goat-herders.

The Quran supports the Big Bang Theory
The Big Bang Theory Confirmed*
[21:30] Do the unbelievers not realize that the heaven and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?

Well, that's interesting, but I don't think it "proves" the Big Bang. Don't get me wrong, the Big Bang theory is the best we've got concerning the physical history of our universe, but I was taught that in science you can never "prove" anything- you can only make discoveries and do experiments that support or don't support your hypothesis.
Anyway, I think it's a pretty cool discovery. But why are you posting it in the religion section?

The only people who need their minds changed are the ones that ignore facts on a regular basis. I am sure that someone will come up with "proof" that it was not real, accurate, legitimate, ect......
Look at it this way; the Shroud of Turin was found to be a hoax over 10 years ago, and yet I meet people all the time that tell me how it has been proven to be "the real thing" over and over again.

Its amazing to me what you call proof... did you read that article?
You can believe Casper the ghost created the universe if you want to...but it wont change the inevitable... you and everyone else who rejects CHRIST, "WILL bow before a HOLY GOD someday and give account for that rejection.... its coming.
Have a nice day!!

No not really.
I found the two who discovered how to switch DNA/RNA on and off much more interesting.
The field of genetics and DNA is going to get big, fast.
Dealing with life here and now seems much more positive.
