No. Religion is not science. The old Catholic Church had an escape clause that basically said it was okay to explain the appearance of things...even though we all 'knew' that it was not religiously true. Well the world appears old, living things all appear to be related and Evolution is a great explanation. When/if it stops being a good explanation scientists will propose a better one. It was an all around good compromise...then the fundies found a voice.....a political voice.

At the risk of being shot down by both sides ...... disagreements should be a point of learning. I know that when I have had a problem with the biblical account appearing to be in opposition to science, it has always been my own lack of understanding on one side or the other.
If people would just talk and learn then they would discover that the huge big canyon between them is a barely perceptible crack!

It's reasonable to expect that when you lay out incontravertable proof that evolution is a fact creationists will accept it rather than resorting to ridicule and personal abuse. There should be no disagreement about something that is patently true beyond a shadow of a doubt.

In a mirror war, it's "all vanity and vexation of Spirit".
How does mirror war end? "From such turn away".
Let what's "ready to vanish" & "shall vanish", vanish.
What's ready to vanish? Mirrorly saying left is right.
Who says such? The dark-end image in the mirror.
"Law" worketh "wrath" is among "unholy" things,
and in 2Tim 3 it exhorts: "from such turn away".
God hath not appt'd us unto (law worketh)wrath.
With all thy getting, get it: understanding (Prov 4).
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
