hey Master Of Puppets,
I like some of the picutres. Like most fairly good photographers, you have some good shots. There are some, that are not great, but that is to be expected with quantity. We can't all produce National Geographic covers. I did like your framing and content and variety.

As with all photography, good or bad is subjective to the viewer. If these pix look good to you, then who's to say their not? There are a few technical things to work on, but I think you might have a pretty good eye for this.
1 Open your apeture some more on your flower and close up shots to blurr out the backgrounds more. It makes the subject flower stand out more.
2. The sunsets weren't bad, Hidden sun was a favorite, especially with difficult lighting conditions, but look and see, and be patient during sundowns, and maybe bracket shots over several minutes to see where the lighting is best and produces the best shots.
3. Get more used to using the rule of thirds in your composition. A couple of shots might have benifitted from moving your subject off center.
4. Your black and white shot, to me, looked a little dull. Maybe washing it through photoshop, and increasing the brightness and contrast a bit might make a more visually stunning image.
I've been at this for years, and I still study composition, lighting, and other technique whenever I can. I've got a whole library of manuals and stuff I've studied to help my photography. Nobody is perfect at this the first time out, or the third time, or the tenth. Keep taking pictures. All you can. Take pictures of things that please you, and compose them in different ways to find a style and look that pleases you. Learn the techniques and rules well so when you can, you can break them in creative and interesting ways.
Good luck!

Your sunset shots were decent.
The "Petra" series I might have done in B&W. The colors are somewhat bland and taking that element out would focus more on the texture of the rocks and carvings.
Don't be afraid to shoot B&W more.
You show promise. Like a previous poster said, we can't all do National Geographic quality work.

I myself am a photographer, and I like to look for things that wouldn't typically be thought of as picture-worthy. I like that you have a pic of the fabrics, though it wasn't my favorite. It shows that you are unique and have an eye for color (very important in photography). I absolutely loved the of the sky! I'd pay money to have that in my house! The one of the flowers was also very good. Stick to the photography! You could go places!

I love your "hidden sun", thought that was your best among the rest.
