ANSI doesn't give away much. The catalog is available online, but you have to pay for it.

Is there a specific ANSI standard that you are looking for?

Even the ANSI site does not have/sell all of the standards that bear the "ANSI" designation. There are some associations that develop standards for their industry and use the ANSI process to convert their standards to "concensus" standards. Having a concensus standard is needed to have a standard implemented in the building codes, for example. But the developers of the standard often retain ownership/publishing rights to the standard, so they can be purchased from the author of the standard, but not from the ANSI organization itself.
