I have blonde hair with highlights and I need to make my hair brown for Halloween. I'm trying to stay away from buying a wig. Does anyone know of a dye or home solution to make my hair brown and will wash out shortly after?

Please don't buy a hair color!! Anything you put on blond hair is going to be super absorbed by your hair. Nothing is going to wash out the next day less you just get the colored hair spray. Unless you want to change your hair for a while don't color it!!! I know because I have been coloring my hair for years. I wa born with blond hair and when I first colored it I tried one of those wash out hair colors. I chose an auburn brown and it came out orange! I had to color over it because it doesn't wash out like they say. I had wanted to make a long term change, but don't use hair color unless that is what you want. Better stick to a wig or colored hair spray.

You are going to really mess up your haircoloring if you dye it brown just for Halloween. Sure it will wash out eventually, but your hair won't go back to the color that it was before you dyed it. Please, just buy a wig. They aren't that expensive!

they have lots of mousse dyes that dye out in 8-10 shamppoos but im not sure id go for that. what if it permenantly leave s a stain on your hair?? a wig would be best, cus its just halloween, but if you really dont want to their are mousses you can use that wash out. try loreal colour pulse.

check on the box of most dyes some are 12washing but if your hair is a light blonde then anykind of dye might wash out but still stain it or leave it dull
call a salon and ask them what you should use if anyone knew they would

To keep your hair healthy I would suggest just getting a wig. One that comes from a costume store to go with your outfit, it will probably go better!!!

Yes go to any drug store and check out the washable colors, look for it to say how long it will last. Or just get a wig!
