I live in Arizona and here are facts from our state as to the "cost"of illegals:

The $1.3 billion in costs incurred by Arizona taxpayers is comprised of outlays in the following areas:

Education. Based on estimates of the illegal immigrant population in Arizona and documented costs of K-12 schooling, Arizonans spend approximately $820 million annually on education for illegal immigrant children and for their U.S.-born siblings.

Health Care. Uncom-pensated medical outlays for health care provided to the state’s illegal alien population is now estimated at about $400 million a year.

Incarceration. The cost of incarcerating illegal aliens in Arizona prisons and jails amounts to about $80 million a year (not including the monetary costs of the crimes that led to their incarceration).

The unauthorized immigrant population pays some state and local taxes that go toward offsetting these costs, but they do not come near to matching the expenses. The total of such payments might generously be estimated at $257 million per year.

The fiscal costs of illegal immigration do not end with these three major cost items. The total costs of illegal immigration to the state’s taxpayers would be considerably higher if other costs such as special English instruction, school nutrition programs, or welfare benefits for American workers displaced by illegal alien workers were added into the equation.

Illegal aliens make a premeditated decision to break our laws, by entering the U.S. in violation of U.S. federal laws.
This is complete disrespect for this nation, and the laws of this nation, and makes ALL illegal aliens criminals from the moment they step foot on U.S. soil illegally, and every minute of every day they stay here illegally.
Illegal aliens DO NOT BELONG HERE!

After breaking the first U.S. law, by entering the US illegally (or overstaying a VISA), they continue to commit one crime after anther because they have no respect for our laws. They prove that when they enter illegally.
Illegal aliens think they don't have to obey any laws, they think they are BETTER than legal US citizens and legal immigrants.
Also it is the destitute, the poorest, the criminal and the diseased and needy who come here illegally, the dregs of humaity, dishonest, no morals, no ethics, liars, thieves, scammers, murderers, rapists, child molesters, prostitutes. Their own country doesn't want them, but neither do we.
It is a big lie that illegal aliens are coming here to pick crops, right now less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking crops but more than 42% are on welfare (welfare thieves).
And our jails are full of illegal aliens.
Illegal aliens work for cash, which is against the law, and they don't pay any income taxes, the ones who say they pay taxes are using stolen social security numbers, a FELONY, and they should all be arrested, fined $250,000.00 and deported.

America has in the past been to soft on illegal immigrants by just sending them back to their country so they can sneak back in again. I think that sending illegals to prison (prisons that have jobs for them to do, like prison farms, garmet making etc. this would send a message to the illegals that they don't have the right to just come to another country and do what ever they want.

The only reason these people feel they are entitled to anything is because our own country has failed to secure its own boarders, make it beneficial for companys to compete with each other without needing to look toward third world cheap labor, and penalize companies that have a high turnover of US to immigrant workforce instead of rewarding them with per personnel bonuses. When everything is in your favor to be illegal and unfair you will be. What other country has translated its national anthem to accommodate a group that is supposed to be assimulating to a new life?

It would be the same if Mexico was the land of opportunity, and america was full of poverty. We only give them such a hard time because we were born free. I agree something needs to be done, but I in no way will I tell an illegal they don't belong here, because, I wouldn't want to walk a mile in their shoes.
