I'm 22, but im a little more mature then him, not to down him. I just jumped into life a little earlier then him. Not saying I know whats next, if I did i wouldnt be asking. But I know I went through the same thing a litle while back. But I guess everyone goes through that right. I mean Im married so i guess my help would be different. I cant see life from a single young male point of view. who just came out the military. And not use to OC CA. So what should I tell him?
I know no one has the right answers. But good guesses help.

I'd tell him to take advantage of the GI Bill and go to school. He might find many answers there. In addition, he'll have a good time and prepare himself for a career all at once.

Yeah, we all go through that. Can he apply his military experience to a civilian job? That's the best route until he can figure out something better.

He needs to take stock of himself. Figure out his strengths and weaknesses, his likes and dislikes, and decide how best to direct his life. Believe it or not, there are websites that can help him do just that. Check out Tickle.com to see what I mean.

in my opinion education would be the best choice. however a counselor may help him decide the proper choice of fields through aptitude tests.

You wanna be friends? Jesus and I hang out alot and smoke pot and he's really cool and nice. He is soooooo nice duche... Yeah I like him. He's pretty young and he's cute! Wow... that's all we need, just another cute pot head.
