In a mature, healthy relationship things should be split roughly even between the two people. This includes costs of dates just like everything else.
A good way to do it so that no one feels like they are shouldering the financial burden of the date is to break up the costs. For instance, if you're going to a movie maybe offer to pay for the tickets and ask her to get the popcorn and sodas.
Most women won't be offended by sharing the cost of a date, you just don't want to take it too far and expect the woman to front the entire cost of your date. That's not fair for her, and puts you in the same position you are complaining about women being in when they expect you to pay all the costs of a date.

I don't believe all the time the man is suppose to pay, that bull. but if you are saying if a girl wants to go out with you, she have to pay for the date. Now that is some bull s**t!
You pay on some dates and she pays on some dates.

The way you put it makes it seem kind of "Asshole" ish.........but yes...........I think in a committed relationship, it shouldn't be solely anyone's responsibility to pay. If someone has an idea to go somewhere out.....then that person should do the honor of paying. Or if it's her idea, she should pay. It's not the "GUY's" job to pay for something everytime......just like it's not the "WOMAN's" job to always have to "go down" or do this or that for the guy every date.....etc etc..........people assume too much out of both genders.

It just depends... You should only ask them to help pay if you have been in a LONG LASTING relationship with them. If your on like your first through tenth date, then you should just expect to pay, and if you cant afford it, find something else to do.

dump them stupid golddiggers that you are talking to right now, and the next girl you meet just tell her u are broke. dont wear nice clothes around her are anythink that would suggest that you even have alittle bit of money and see if she stayes with you, and if ahe does keep her.
