If you mean the one I think you mean, it is bad because it is derogatory and demeaning, and inappropriate.

Go to a black neighborhood and yell "why is n*gger a bad word?"

See what kind of response you get. Because of the history of the word there are a lot of people who find it offensive. That's more than enough reason not to use it.

The better question would be.....why can they call each other that word, but we can't call them that? They seem to like the word a lot. I hear them say it all the time. Oh, and why are "cracker" and "honky" considered non-offensive words? Not fair.

because white people are scared to face their guilt directly, so instead of actually changing their behaviors they just become uptight and politically correct, just so no one will be ablesay anything about their underlying attitudes which are obviously manifest in their behavior.

obvious racist saying:

"but i have friends who african american"

obviously the word has bad historical connotations: but i would say white people are the ones who are the most offended by the word. that, my friend, is moronic and paradoxical.

peace out nucka

I them some of them CONSTANTLY referring to others using that word. But Whites can't use it?

When will they decide what they want to be called? Shall we ask the NAACP?

I am very tired of this "Political Correct" crap everyone keeps passing out.

It's like the "C" (conservative) word to a Demorat, or the "Q" word to a queer. Only worse.

NO. they call themselves and each other that, so why cant white people? if we made such a big deal over them callin us crackas or honkies as they do us callin them n*****'s then they would get ticked off.
