If you are positively sure that cheating might be happening I think it is best just to confront your significant other. Checking up on him/her is ok but you don't want to come off as being controlling.

Well, i've learned in the past to trust my intuition. If you honestly think there's cheating, then there probably is. If you have to know for certain, then yes, i think it's o.k to check up on them....if you find proof, then LEAVE. Too many people stay with cheating partners, it's sad.

It all depends on how you plan on performing this little "check up". Invasion of her privacy? Nope, because that makes you no better than them. Sitting her down, and discussing your doubts with her in a mature and responsible manner? Sure, go for it. We all have our doubts, and theres nothing wrong with that.
