According to the Victorian "Language of flowers", different colored roses each have their own symbolic meaning:

Red: love
Pink: grace, lesser feelings of love
Dark Pink: gratitude
Light Pink: admiration, sympathy
White: innocence, purity, secrecy, friendship, reverence and humility.

roses mean that u have really strong feelings for the person and also that u really care for the person. so it also depends on what the actuation is and who it is for if it is for ure mom then i would say no that u should get her a diffrent kind of flower but if it is for ure girlfriend then i would say yeah go ahead and get it for her .
