It's quite possible if there's no sexual attraction....but very often there is (at least from one of the sides) and this can make or break everything....Friendship is based on understanding and platonic love, but if desire steps in, 'only friends' becomes an illusion...

YES!!! My best friend is a guy. We have been best friends for years and have done a lot of things together but we are only friends. We have met for lunch,dinner and etc etc..we talk about all our problems and everyday life experiences. So yep, opposite sexes can become just "Friends"..

Yes and definately yes. You keep the sex out of it and you can still have a load of fun together. I am a "rent a date" for several of my close female friends that need someone to accompany them to an occasion. It works well and is fun too.

No. If the freindship grows strong then often it will grow to the point of love. Man and Woman werent meant to be freinds we were meant to be mates.

i think they can become more after all you cant have a relationship thats loving if you only met them 2 seconds ago you have to be friends first !
