I've got a mutant hair on the side of my nose. It's really thin, but grows so quickly that within months, its several cm's long. Its barely noticable to most people and I tend to chop it down every so often, but now my girlfriend is threatening to pull it out. I don't want her too. I've grown attached to this mutant hair. Might be all that's left to my past life as a cat??? Any comments?

Let that thing grow until it's several feet long. You'll probably win a place in the Guiness Book of World Records. Fame, fortune and better women will soon follow.

I actually have this strange, soft, lightly colored hair that grows from the tops of my ears. My girlfriend in college told me it made me look like some kind of elfin forest creature.

Watch Monty Python's The Meaning of Life and you will see a man with whiskers say "Oh where did fishy go?".

Sideburns were often called whiskers in olden times.

Wow, a mutant hair. My great aunt Lil used to have whiskers on her chin. As kids we used to stare at them as we thought only men had them. Now the penny drops. She also had mutant hair. OMG, I hope it's not hereditary

i think whiskers are thick... ive never gotten close enough to a cat to touch one but i would assume... me and my sister and brother were talking about long random hairs that grown where they arent suppose to... they are very thin and light in color... and they grow real long... like you describe... i think it just happens and that you were not a cat in a past life... leave it there if you want to keep it.

LOL. You tell your girlfirend to leave it be if you don't want it plucked! You sound about 3 degrees away from giving it a name - then maybe you should let her pull it, but only then. LOL You made me laugh so much! Thanks.
