Vivia only stays in the little doggie section at the dogpark. I watch her like a hawk.
She came from the shelter. Her previous owner didn't properly treat her, so her ear is like puffy. The doctor COULD do an operation, but that would cost at least 800.00, which I don't happen to have at the moment.
My previous dog, Muffin, a Peke/mix, when I was feeding the baby, the dog had to also sit by my lap. SHe licked the baby and the baby smiled. I LOVED most of the stories. Love Cesar too!

Vivica (correction) is about 3 yrs, and is part Lhasa and is a beautiful gray and white. I clipped her and she prances around like a real little lady, it's so funny sometimes. She likes to climb up on the couch, on the back part, lay where she could always see me where ever I go in the apartment. If I'm on my laptop, she'll lay underneath the dining table with her head resting on a chair's lowest cross-bar. Since, I don't have any kids, VIVICA is my child. I visited my elderly parents up north often and have picked an all-night vet hospital to leave her when I can't be at home. Although, I would rather take her to the Doggie-Day Care where they can freely roam with supervision, currently, my finances won't let me do that. Look for my second part question!

You will NEVER find a more true dedicated friend than your dog. She loves and worships you, a human will never be that loyal and loving.
My dog is the same way, his favorite thing is just to be with me. I can not even take a shower without him in the room. If I leave he will sit by the door and wait, he does not care if anyone else in the house comes or goes. He is a 120 lbs Lab and absolutely has to not sleep with me but on top of me. The closer he is the happier he is. We weigh the same so its not very comfortable for me, but I love him. Since he was & weeks old there has never been a day that I have been away from him for more than 3 hours, so when I went away I had to cut my vacation short and come home because he stopped eating and drinking. But he is the best friend I could ever have, he is always there for me and loves me no matter what I look like or what mood I am in. And he does not talk back and listens way better than my husband does.

My dog is like that too, but she is a cattle dog, so she tends to get in the way more because of her size. Even when my cat is sitting in my lap if she's not touching me she has to lay right beside me. She always sleeps with me too. Before she would refuse to eat or drink when I went on trips out of town. Now she's the same way with my stepdad, so if I have to go somewhere she usually stays with him and my mom. Don't worry it is very normal, and I think pretty much every dog does this. They are very loyal and sociable. In fact, I would prbly be worried if your dog wasnt doing this.

I HAVE A LHASA APSO and he is EXACTLY THE SAME! He is true blue, my best friend and protector. As you say, he is under my feet wherever I go. If I am setting the table he will follow me back and forth. He, too, will not walk without me outside even when he is loose. He won't step out the door to my fenced yard unless I am right beside him even when the door is wide open. He is the most delicious, loyal little guy! He is my Little Boy . He is MY BUDDY!

I have three dogs and two of them, a 4yr old Bouvier and 10yr old Lab follow me everywhere, and sleep in my bed. I think I get all the attention because I'm the one that takes them walking all the time and well I just love them, and show it all the time. The other dog hangs out with my son, he has a bad back and can't get around so well.
They are my best friends, and love me no matter what.

It's quite normal. Dogs are pack animals, and in the absence of other dogs in the household, you are the dog's pack. And hopefully, the leader, not the follower. It's got nothing to do with human emotions.

My dog does the same thing. The only time she's not right next to me is when I ask her to come to me, then she runs in the other direction. She sleeps with me every night, ans she follows me around like a shadow. She's a three year old Boston Terrier.

First, I must say a dog should NOT be up on the bed with you for ANY reason! This is a dominant position and cannot continue. Your dog, however, may have security problems. She may feel that you are her protector, and she expects you to be within touch range at all times to reassure her.
Additionally, at dog parks, there are loud, boisterous dogs running around and to take a shy dog there is not a good idea. Personally, I am AGAINST dog parks because you will NOT have any control over every dog there if one decides to fight. If you want your dog to socialize with other dogs, get a friend to come over with some small dogs for her to play with where everyone is in control.
I would get a behaviorist involved to help your shy little dog come out of her shell.

What type of dog? She sounds like a very loyal dog. Do you leave her alone in the daytime? She may be lonely. Try getting her another doggie companion.

You just can't be a dog's love. Truly unconditional. One of mine is napping on the couch right now, while the other one is lying on my feet. I love them.

By the way, ignore Sarah H's answer. There is nothing wrong with your dog sleeping with you. I think it's more a personal thing myself.
