When a person who has not accepted Jesus as their Savior dies, they will be separated from God for eternity in hell.

However, when Jesus paid the penalty for our sins on the cross, He only suffered hell for a short time and is now in heaven with God. Why did He not have to suffer for eternity?

The son of God would never be punished for eternity. Actially, He was never punished at all. Perhaps God wanted to know with a human body, what pain and suffering really felt like. Guess He found out. He gave us a way out of eternal Hell. Believe in the son He created as a direct line to heaven, or suffer the consequences. Sound familiar?

Isn't he still nailed to the cross in every church you go? Only few churches show him as the ressurected one.
Please do not make people guilty of hell if they do not believe in Jesus. Everyone is judged not by merely believing in him by the righteousness he has done while still living.
The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, the wickedness of the wicked will be charge against him. Ezekiel 18:20.
That was declared by the Lord even before Jesus time and he said that for as long as He lives and since He lives forever, there is no truth to your claim that Jesus die for our sins.
He came only for the lost sheep of Israel.Matthew 15:24.
Your religion has deceived everyone. so that you will have to live in fear all your life. The Old Testament lives forever and The Book of Revelation tells us about if Jesus has really accomplished His mission or he failed it. Read who is the Morning Star in Isaiah 14: 12-16 and the Morning Star in Revelation 22:16.

Because Jesus was Jehovah God in human form all along.

those of the church who come from this world having an idea of three Divine beings cannot be admitted into heaven,
since their thought wanders from one Divine being to another; and it is not allowable there to think three and say one.{1} Because in heaven everyone speaks from his thought, since speech there is the immediate product of the thought, or the thought speaking. Consequently, those in this world who have divided the Divine into three, and have adopted a different idea of each, and have not made that idea one and centered it in the Lord, cannot be received into heaven, because in heaven there is a sharing of all thoughts, and therefore if any one came thinking three and saying one, he would be at once found out and rejected. But let it be known that all those who have not separated what is true from what is good, or faith from love, accept in the other life, when they have been taught, the heavenly idea of the Lord, that He is the God of the universe. It is otherwise with those who have separated faith from life, that is, who have not lived according to the precepts of true faith (Heaven and Hell n.2).

The atonement and sacrifice of Jesus Christ was an infinite and eternal sacrifice.

Time is only a human reckoning, and not a Godly reckoning. Just because his suffering lasted only a short time in human reckoning does not mean it was not for eternity and for all people.

Jesus obviously did not pay the full penalty for all our sins.

Jesus did what was necessary to save us from our sins.

It's still up to us to accept him, to repent, and to prove our faith by our actions.

If Jesus really paid for all our sins, not only would he still be in hell, where he would have to stay for all eternity, nobody would need to die any more, and nobody else could ever be sent to hell again.

Because it wasn't Jesus' suffering that attoned for our sins; it was His DEATH.

Isaiah 53:

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
9 And they made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any deceit in His mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall see the labor of His soul,[b]and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.

Peace.

Jesus conquered Hell, which is why we are able to avoid it by accepting Him.

Before His descent, all souls were there. While in Hell, He released the righteous to live eternally in the glory of Heaven.

If you ask me from the day he created adam and eve he suffered our disobediance.

However, I guess it's because he's God and if he has to spend 1 second in hell for anyone, he considers that Eternity.

You only suffer as a result of karma-if Jesus created no karma, which is likely given his lifestyle, then he had attained enlightenment and earned the right to eternal bliss in the highest heavens.
