I recently saw this statement on a bumper sticker. Now my question is...Is it not a sin for a religious person to put this on their car? To assume that God or Jesus loves you MORE than another is a sin right? "We are all equal in the eyes of god." So why is it that religious people can be so Vain and still consider themselves free from sin. Even a small sin is a sin. A bumper sticker may not seem like much, but the statement it implies is not small. To me this is a perfect example of religious double standards. They tell you to be free of sin and then hand out stickers that will make you a sinner if you use them??? I know it is only a sticker, but I've seen a lot like this, and it makes me wonder what these so called religious people were thinking? Do they really believe that they will get a better spot in the lineup at the pearly gates when the time comes??? Do any of you have this sticker or one like it on your cars? If so please explain why you think god likes you more

It is definitely ignorant and prideful to say something like that or to have a sticker on a car declaring that. "Jesus loves you, but I'm His favorite" is not a true statement.

It is possible that the person with that bumper sticker is a Christian and has the sin of pride. God will have to work on that in that person's heart.

It's also possible that the person with that sticker is not a Christian and just thought it would be funny to put that sticker on their car to "spite Christians."

In the end, it's not for me or for anyone to judge that person. God knows his/her heart, and will serve justice.

I think it is meant as a joke and would not take anything like that as anything more than that. However if a person truly feels that way then I guess you could say they are guilty of the sin of pride or vanity. Either way, if you feel offended by a bumper sticker you are probably a little too tense about religion and probably need to just take a breath and move away from the vehicle in question and forget you saw it. Because if you begin pointing out someone else's sin then you are guilty of judging and that is a sin too. Then you have allowed someone else to add a black mark to your tally sheet.

It's a joke about being a member of the chosen group. It's sounds horrible, but it no different than anyone saying their religion is the right one and yours is wrong. When someone says they are going to heaven and you are going to hell, they are in effect saying the same thing as this sticker.

A sin is a sin. Even looking at a woman and lusting after

her is a sin. No one is holy except God/Jesus/Holy Spirit.

No Christian is holy, just forgiven. I think the bumper sticker

was there for a laugh.

You are operating under the assumption that this person is christian. Could it not be an agnostic making a tongue in cheek attempt at humor?

By the way, no christian is free from sin, hence the need for Jesus!

Probably poking fun at Christians who think they are better than others. Definitely intended as humor.
