True peace means peace every day. It means that you wake up each morning without a thought of war, without having to worry about your future, your children’s future, even your grandchildren’s future. It means complete peace of mind. (Colossians 3:15) It means no more crime, no more violence, no more families torn apart, no more homeless people, no more people starving or freezing, and no more despair and frustration. Better still, God’s peace means a world without sickness, pain, sorrow, or death. (Revelation 21:4)
Man cannot bring this about, history proves that.
Only God can bring this about. It was part of his original purpose for mankind so He will accomplish it - (ISAIAH 55:11)
Inner peace: -
Jehovah/Yahweh is the God of peace (1Corinthians 14:33; 2Corinthians 13:11; 1Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 13:20) and the Source of peace (Numbers 6:26; 1Chronicles 22:9; Psalm 4:8; 29:11; 147:14; Isaiah 45:7; Romans 15:33; 16:20), it being a fruit of his spirit. (Galatians 5:22) For this reason true peace can be had only by those who are at peace with God. Serious transgressions put a strain on a person’s relationship with God and cause the individual to be disturbed. The psalmist said: “There is no peace in my bones on account of my sin.” (Psalm 38:3) Those who desire to seek and pursue peace must therefore “turn away from what is bad, and do what is good.” (Psalm 34:14) Without righteousness, there can be no peace. (Psalm 72:3; 85:10; Isa 32:17) That is why the wicked cannot have peace. (Isaiah 48:22; 57:21; compare Isaiah 59:2-8.) On the other hand, peace is the possession of those who are fully devoted to Jehovah/Yahweh, love his law (Psalm 119:165), and heed his commandments.—Isaiah 48:18.

Certainly not with so many closed-minded zealots and hypocrits writing things like this:
"The Catholic Church is the True Church and the problems with homosexuals within the Church is a very small amount. The number is less than 2% which is about the same with every other religion. The media and people like you who have an agenda to push do much more damage to people then them-- by your false statements you lead people away from the truth. Shame on YOU. You are like a germ laden carrier of a disease who then in turn blames a person for catching the disease you carry."
Oh, hang on, that's what you left on one of my posts. Now it makes sense. Of course you wouldn't believe peace is possible with bile like that flowing through you.

Probably no peace as we commonly define it.
Isn't real peace possible on the inside? This would be similar to the concept of having the kingdom of God within you.

It depends: are humans involved?
Peace may be possible, but you would have to define the "peace" you desire. Do you mean peace with self-determination for all peoples? Peace under American hegemony? Peace under a philosophical state? Peace under Islam? Under Christianity? Under Shinto? Peace under Chinese hegemony? Peace under a United Nations mandate?

yes I do. There will be a false peace during the tribulation. The true peace will come when the new heaven and the new earth is made.

No. Because there will be religion until the day the earth stops. As long as there are people who have diffferent faiths you will have dissention. Everyone thinks their way is the only way and no one is willing to be tolerant and leave the other to their beliefs. No one seems to understand that you cannot force someone to change their minds about what they deeply believe in. So there will always be animosity and killing in the name of religion.

Yes, I believe it is possible.
I do not , however believe that peace can be obtained through violence.

Not as long as societies are like this. It is possible but not right now. And religions are one of the major sources of war.

It is only possible by means of God's Kingdom under the rulership of Christ Jesus. Soon you will see it's hostile takeover. It will begin with the governments closing all of the false religions. God has put this in the minds of the governments to do this and it will happen soon.
