Then you most likey have hair that does not take to curling. Some people are like this, even to the point where perms don't even work.
You can try spraying your hair first with some hairspray, then comb that small section you've just sprayed and then proceed to curl it. Don't spray your whole head and then curl it, it'll end up a mess. You could also try curling shampoos, although I've never had them work myself, curling gels or mousses. If none of these work then you probably have hair like mine. It falls after an hour even with hairspray.

Leave the curly iron on your hair for about 5 min... and add a lil hairspry right after... And when you do oyu curls get a lil portion

with ur kind of hair, ur gonna have to either make HARD curls (ie, mousse and gel all over, so that its almost crispy to the touch, but Looks nice), or find some products that have Flexible hold, but extra strength.
i'd say put mousse or gel into mostly dried hair... then after u curl each 2 inch section or whatever, and it looks how u want it, spray with hairspray RIGHT after. good luck!!!

Get some hairspray (extra hold)and while you are curling your hair spray each curl with the curling iron still in your hair it should work good.good luck...

Try to use mousse on the part that you want curled.
