I like your borg dog. Sexual preferences are and should be treated as a private matter. I am an atheist and straight. But, I believe that you love a person, not a gender. And, I would never force my sexual preference on another person, and tell them that's the way they have to be, or there is something wrong with them. Tolerance is the American way, those who wish to dictate the sex lives of their fellow citizens belong in a different country.

Hmmm...
I suppose that since I do not adhere to any guidelines set down by a religion, that makes it easier to accept other people's orientations. And my own, for that matter... Gosh, it would be awful to have to hate myself!
I don't think your religion affects your sexual preference, since that is established at birth. But your sexual orientation might affect your *religious* preference, for the reason stated above!

As an atheist, I have rejected any religious notions I may have had about a person's sexual preferences. I feel that gays should be awarded the same rights as any other member of the human race. They are, after all, human.

No but sexual preference and the comfort you have with your results can affect what religion you choose. Or lack of religion.
Are you staying by we humans' sides protecting us? Thanks.

if something, faith (wrongly) teaches people who hetero is nice, homo is evil.! this is as though faith tells us to no longer be conscious and accepting of others, no rely what. could faith particularly be used to narrow peoples minds and encourage hate in others? dont be stupid, faith is suitable in each and every achieveable way. its why ive been a spiritual atheist for, nicely, my complete existence now.

I am a pagan and I don't care what sexual preference a person has.
