I agree, it does make it seem like they are less the "true" Christian than they would lead us to believe. And it certainly doesn't look like they are very humble. If you want to prove how "True" you are, you wouldn't run around trying to convince everyone by saying "I'm a true...." You would prove it by your actions.

I'll say "true believer" or "true Christian" because some people in this form categorize the actions of all who call themselves Christians all together. If the actions they were describing were done by Christians, then they CANT be "true". True Christians have the spirit of God dwelling in them and they don't DESIRE to do wrong. A true believer don't plan to sin. That's not being judgmental, that's just the word of God. The Bible says you're suppose to be a NEW creature. Old things past away, behold all things new. The word of God does the judging.

In a sense you are right, True Christians don't need to announce thier Christianity. Due to the following Scripture:
Matthew 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
In other words if you wanted to know if I'm a Good Christian, then it wouldn't be by what I say but by what I do.
Still your right thier is no need to brag about being a Christian, because only Jesus Christ knows who the real Christians are.
And let me just apologize if I have ever said it in that tone as well.
I hope this helps GodBless:)

Jesus Christianity did not develop into computer in simple terms because many in the international in the present day are.Jesus did not settle for what develop into popularly taught to be a believer in God even as He develop into on earth.God would not keep on with what guy tells Him He must be like. A christian remains a similar and could continually be a similar. Please examine: John 3:15-21 Acts 2:21 Romans a million,3,6,10 Rev 18-22 Matt24-25

A true Christian by definition is following Christ. Anyone else claiming to be Christian is giving Christ a bad reputation.

Anyone can call themselves a Christian. It don't make them one, True or otherwise. Being a Chirstian is being "Christ-like" all the time, so no one should have to say wether they are a Christian or not. Their actions will show what they are! :)

A "true Christian" is one who has accepted Christ as their saviour and is born of the Holy Spirit (born again) because they have asked for forgiveness and asked Christ to come into their heart. Some people claim to be Christians and are going on their own good deeds / works or their religion to earn their way to Heaven. A true Christian is one who knows that they have to believe their salvation (way to Heaven) is not through what they do but what has been done for them already (Jesus dying on the cross for our sins). We were born of water when we came into this world but we have to choose to be born of the spirit by asking forgiveness for our sins (we are all sinners). I hope that this clarifies your question. Thank you for your question.

It is difficult to determine.
People who call themselves true Christians may be doing it out of pride, but some might be doing it because of zeal (pride - sin, zeal - unwise).

I don't know if it's unChristian - but it's certainly arrogant, presumptuous, sanctimonious, and pretentiously pious.

I do not worry over that affirmation. I follow Christ and trust Him to know who is His.
