I'm pretty happy with my upper body. I'm trying to increase the muscles in my butt so that it will appear more lifted and look like I actually have a butt. I am walking 2 miles everyday on the treadmill using varying incline levels. Every other day I'm doing about 20 minutes of pilates and 20 minutes on the excersise ball performing 3 sets of 12 reps of various exercises that are designed to work the butt and leg muscles (for example: bridge, butt lift, hip extension, frog press face down on the ball, and straight leg raises face down on the ball) Does this routine sound effective? and combined with a proper diet approximately how long will it take for me to see the results?

Sounds great, but I would definitely throw in squats and/or lunges if you want your butt lifted. Results will depend on genetics, but I would think within a couple weeks you should see some sort of reults. Good Luck!

Try adding some jogging to your routine when you are on the treadmill, you will get more benefit from running. Also add some weights to your routine, like free weights or weight machine circuit at a gym. This will build muscle and burn fat.

you should see results in a month.

Weights in hand and lunges are good too

Also for a firm butt do the elliptical with a combo of leg press
