This is easily the best fight card that american soil has seen in quite sometime...Fedor vs coleman, Rua vs Randleman, Belfort vs Henderson, and you got Mark Hunt in the mix as well. It seems like UFC only has a few stars, and with them trying to hold a PPV event every month, you get one star on the card, (ufc 64 will have franklin and no other noteable) and the rest are no name american fighters. What do you all think??

I am looking forward to the event as well. I do think that Pride has better fighters. (They also pay more.) Nothing against UFC, because I'm a UFC fan as well. I just think that currently there are better fighters in Pride. Pride is not as mainstream as UFC is in America due to advertisement and availablity. UFC is on Spike a few nights a week while Pride only has the weak show on FSN one day a week. You can also walk into Wal-Mart now and find a UFC video, but they don't sell Pride. So some people haven't been exposed to it yet, give it a few years and Pride will catch on. It wasn't that long ago that many people would give me a weird look when I told them I liked UFC. They didn't know what it was. Now it's known throughout many households.

This event should open the eyes of UFC only fans and others who havent seen PRIDE.
I think it will be the next few events if not this event that it will surpass UFC.

I like the UFC since the beginning but Dana makes me cringe - less of him and more fights.

No doubt about it Pride is #1. Their top 7-8 heavyweights, in particular, could destroy any UFC heavyweight.
