Take up this matter with a knowledgeable priest.

There's a lot of fine points to understand here.

Make sure you consult a priest who is familiar with the late John Paul II's document: "Theology of the Body"

That would depend on why they are prescribed.

If it for Birth Control then no.

Most Birth Control pills actually are causing spontaneous Abortions, they don't always prevent pregnancy, but end it soon after conception.

There are alternatives for almost any medical reason to take them that are safer to the girl than birth control.

You might do some research here:

If they aren't used as birth control then there is no problem.

I suppose they've been prescribed to regulate a period.

You should know they're pretty bad for you. Also that they come from horse urine. Millions of horses are slaughtered each year when the get to the point that they can't be pregnant any more. They're called PMU mares. "Pregnant Mare Urine" is used in hormone replacements and birth control pills for women.

Who of us wants to perpetuate this? Especially when there are less toxic, less cruel ways to regulate your hormones. Diet, exersize, soy, mexican yam.

If its for birth control lets see here... your already doing something you shouldn't so really - and its not an abortion - you are not releasing an egg so there is nothing to be fertilized so there is no abortion -
Go to church get forgiven it's all good - if its for another reason then there is no issue - whatever -
