I don't know about it with dogs, but I once had to treat a cat topically and they had me use house spray on the baseboards ,etc. My cat started foaming at the mouth within days and had gone into liver failure. Fortunately the vet was able to save him.

There should be a phone number on the box to call the company. They are probably the best people to contact to answer this question. If you can't find a phone number, check their website, or call your vet.

My vet gave me the one for small cats to use on my rabbit, and it worked wonderfully!
