Let her handle it. She's a grown woman. If she wants you to call, she'll give you the number. You may upset her if you just take it. If he's stalking you can guarantee he'll let her know what you did. She'll then feel betrayed and un-trusting. Good Luck =)

Don't call him. It'll make things worse. I'm thinking they'd just recently broken up? The guy sounds like he's just desperate for another chance with her and not meaning to harm her. I've been in this situation before and all u should do is be patient. The more he sees how happy she is with you the more discouraged he will be and finally will let her go. If he does come talking to you, then still be patient, and kind, but firm. Be compassionate but let him know you're serious with her and that he should move on. All this only when he makes the move to talk to you. Do not call him. (You calling him shows you're being insecure and will encourage him further, not only to stalk her even more but to antagonize you further).
IF he starts getting 'criminal' then you should take legal action.

Talk to your gf and decide what you want to do. Whether you want to take legal action or not. If this guy is making unwanted advances through no fault of your girlfriend, that is stalking and harassment. A short visit by the cops will cool his heels.

What are you going to say to him if you call? Pick a fight? Probably not a good idea unless you are a black-belt (and he can sue you if you kick his @$$).
Talk with her and see what she wants to do. This may sound wimpy, but if you two ignore him, maybe he will get bored and find some other girl to harass. Otherwise, call the cops.

greetings...if she seriously feels threatened by this person she should contact the police immediately. people that stalk are very dangerous and shouldn't be taken lightly. she needs to document every thing he does. when he calls, where she See's him ect.. i have a friend who waited to long to do something about it and she wound up getting beat up. yes the guy went to jail but it could have turned out alot worse. dont sit on your hands and hope this goes away. not to worry you sir, but your in danger as well, simply because in his mind you pose a threat and are the one thing standing between him and his object of desire. GO TO THE POLICE...good luck

Dont do that she will go mental, just next time he rings you answer it and calmly tell him that if he doesnt leave her alone you will have both his legs broken!!!
Or find his number out form one of her friends and call him. Ask him to meet you to discuss the issue of him hasseling your g/f. then hopefully he will go away. If he doesnt smash his teeth in.

Really bad idea....it could piss him off even more and she could end up hurt. Tell your g/f to contact the police and get their advice on what to do.
