I go to bed around 1 am everynight and lately I can't get up before 11 or 12 am. I feel like I sleep too much and don't know how to make my self get up and start my day earlier than noon and have to be at work at 2 pm. some one please help!

Maybe you really were tired! If you had major things the months before then maybe you do need all that rest. Try to go to bed earlier so you could get up a little earlier. Hope you'll feel better!

Go see a doctor. Are you eating a nutritious diet? Try going to bed a little earlier and do it every night until your body gets used to it. Try yoga or a relaxation program just before bed to help you fall asleep more quickly and sleep better. Maybe your thyroid is out of whack. Try to get exercise during the day. If you take drugs (recreational or Rx) or drink alcohol, that could do it too. Bottom line I would check with your doctor, get a physical and lab work done. There maybe something physically wrong like heart problems too. Good luck to you!

Get an alarm clock and set it on your dresser or a table so that you have to get up and turn it off. You are getting too much sleep and that just makes it a cycle.....the more you sleep, the more tired you get so you sleep more, etc. You should get up no later than 9am.

go to bed earlier. and start waking up at the same time everyday. use your alarm clock. train yourself to get up.
