Why do you expect life to be fair? It just isn't, and that's that. There are some things you can change--work on that. Some things you cannot--these you must accept and either adapt yourself to those things or find a way around them. Some good people will be killed for no reason and some terrible people will have children. I do not believe everything happens for a reason-I think some things are just senseless. How can someone say a 2 month old child being shaken to death was for a reason? I can't accept that. Some things just don't make sense, and life is sometimes just not fair. That's life, move on.

I let go of the fact because it isn't true. Everything happens for a reason. However, everyone goes through a time where they think the world sucks. But consider this. If life was fair, there would be nothing left for us to do ourselves. We would coast through life without a single challenge, and we would never learn anything. Life is fair in the respect that it presents challenges. It can be hard at times, but it's definitely fair.

Right now I'm trying to accept the fact that life is not fair. It is really changing my attitude and my life. I don't know why I'd want to let go of that fact now that I am learning it.

Well, sometimes it's hard to do that, but we all have to, or we'll end up staying in one place in our lives, and the really "good" things will pass us by. Just tell yourself that you are "not" willing to let that happen to "you," and then let that bad experience GO! If "fairness" played a roll in every single part of our lives, we would have a perfect world, and there would be nothing to be competitive about or "for." Evidently, life is fair enough, or you wouldn't still be here. Good luck. (Girlie)

I understand your question because I have asked that question myself many times. The best advice is to become best friend with God and ask him to help you during bad times. Also keep in mind that His word says that nothing bad comes to you without bringing something better if you believe in Him. In other words, if you are going through some difficult times, ask for forgiveness of all your sins and ask Him to make this situation turn in favor of you and if you believe, miracles will start showering your special life.

Actually I think people do reap what they sow, either now or later.
I have been done wrong by people before and God righted the wrong. Likewise when I have done wrong (like be critical of somebody for doing something) God has put me in that position to see the other person's point of view.

Do everything I can to make the political system more fair, society more fair, and to insulate myself from much of the insanity and idiocy,

It is not fair by what view point? It is all how you view and what you dwell on.First God created everything and His creation has rejected Him,Yeah I guess it really is unfair.I think we all should try extremely hard to make it up to the only one that truly loves us.Don't you?May God Bless You.

By reminding yourself that you are NOT unique. Life is not fair to EVERYONE. If you think that bad things only happen to you, your wrong. Let it go.

Also, only YOU can make your life better. No one else. Not a boyfriend/girlfriend or anyone else. You have to make it yourself.

in this life that we are livin, its not possible to hav everythin goin our way. there must be challanges along the way. take each of them as a bump when you approach it you have to slow down once you have passed you gain momentum and move on.
