I have tried everything.... I think, I even tried nothing, I also serezone before (notes say I was exhausted), despite the current contraverasy, my Dr. thinks I should give it another try.

serezone is an older one with bad side affects ..also, stay away from effexor. I've heard the side affects can be bad. Try a newer one like Wellbutrin or Cymbalta. You can look them up on : webmd.com Anytime you start a new drug like this, you may feel sleepy for the first 7 to 14 days. Give it 3 to 4 weeks before you decide if it is helping you are not. Good Luck to you ! :)

Bad side effects? I hope not..Im on it now..just started about 2wks ago. This year ive tried Lexapro, Effexxor and Prozac. I had an allergic reaction to Lexapro and I couldnt breathe, the Effexxor withdrawals made me feel like i was dying and my doctor said the Prozac just made me worse. She talked about switching medicine classes all together since this class didnt seem to be working for me...then I mentioned that I had taken Serezone some 8 yrs ago and my mom had noticed an approvement...i couldnt remember anything really about being on Serezone..so im on it again...and it was a major hassle trying to find...since no one really prescribes it anymore. So far..i just notice that im tired all the time, i have horrible migraine headaches, and im really irritable..i dont want to be around anyone, and Im kind of bitchy ( and this only tends to happen later in the day..weird)..i dont feel any happier, but we'll see. All of these medications work differently for ppl...so u basically just have to try them and see what is right for you. With Effexxor, Im not sure if it helped me...but the Withdrawals make it not even worth trying in my opinion. If I found out that Serezone is causing my migraines..and irritability..then im gonna talk to my Dr. about switching. Good luck in finding what works best for u...i know what a struggle it can be, im still workin on it! lol
