This may sound really weird, but it works and is healthy. Workout and as soon as your done eat! The reason it works is because when you workout your muscles tear and need to repair. When they repair the need food. They take this food and get bigger. You will get bigger by doing this. If you want some fat, eat cheese, and drink milk. Stay away from those shake drinks, they really not good for you. I always had to gain weight fast over the summer for football becuase I was a swimmer and had to lose a lot of weight for swimming. When I say work out, do body weight exercises, move your whole body and strenghten your large muscles.

You don't say how much you weigh or how tall you are ? Those details would be helpful. To gain weight you must take in more calories than you expel. If you excersise too much, slow down a bit. Are you eating breakfast, lunch and dinner ? .. You can purchase cold drink shakes from most stores that will add on calories for you. Good Luck ! :)

Be careful what you ask for cause you just might get it. You're only 13 meaning you still have time to grow. I remember when my lil sister was so skinny we thought something was wrong with her. Age 12, 13 , and 14 we thought she would be skinny. few years later she big as a house. Just grow up and let nature take it place. If it's meant for you to be thick wit it you will be. Dont rush it you gone spread in Gods time not everybody elses.

Okay I have your problem, and here is some serious answers that I have researched/been told. First of all, still eat healthy, dont stuff yourself silly, and do excercise. High in fat does NOT mean junk! nuts and legumes are high in healthy fats. So is olive oil (try brushing some on crackers and adding cheese and garlic powder and microwave untill cheese melts) Also drink full fat milk
Eat higher calorie fruits and veggies (bananas, carrots, apples basically any fruit and veggie that is not watery.
protein! Eat lean meat, eat peanutbutter, ask your doctor about taking some protein powder, my doc prescribed me some to take, and it actually doesn't taste to bad.
Eat healthy high calorie foods like nuts, legumes, wheat crackers.
Never be plain. Top your toast with maregines made with healthy fats, peanut butter, jelly. add cheese to your scrambled eggs. This will add calories without filling you up. Cook with healthy olive oil and sprinkle it on your saled, add eggs, crackers and other filling stuff to your salads. fill omelets with cheese and veggies. Order creamy soups.
Swich to whole grains, there healthier and more calorie dense. Eat complex carbohydrates, not loads of sugar.
Eat 3 meals and at least 3 snacks.
here are some healthy high calorie snack ideas.
1. plain full fat yogurt and frozen berries blended together and some peanuts mixed, makes a great dip.
2. Cheesy garlic bread made with whole wheat bread.
3.peanut butter on toast with bananas washed down with full fat milk.
4.whole wheat blueberry muffins, or pancakes
5. Pasta!
6. homemade pizza.
Now, If you wanna gain weight but still be healthy do weight training and resistance excercises. Do crunches, and buy hand and ankle weights, and use them. And jump rope too, or swim.remember muscle ways more than fat! If you want to gain fat too, do higher intensity things like running and such, try to avoid walks.
Edit:Also SWIM!! swimming in water, even if its a heated indoor pool will still cause you to be cold, so your body will try to insulate you with some fat a nd muscle!

U are under weight becuase u grow fast. Be patient, dont eat like a pig because u will grow fat . Give ur system a chance.

you might think that the easy solution is to eat loads of unhealthy foods e.g burgers, chips and ppizza ect but you really don't want to do that you want to gain weight without becoming unhealthy and there are milkshakes you can have to increase your weight good luck !!! :D:D

Eat anything with high carbohydrates such as pasta, rice, potatoes, bread (things made with white flour). AND plenty of ice cream and desserts would also help. Good luck!!

You may be naturally thin. I would just eat healthy still. don't eat junk food. you may want to try to drink some protien shakes.
