Prophesies of the Old Testament say that the father of Jesus must be the descendant of King David. Matthew and Luke both spend some time tracing the ancestry of Joseph to King David both are completely different but that’s just another contradiction and another question. But if the mistranslation Virgin Mary (actually Young Mary, easy mistake) is as true as Christians would have us belive then it means he has no connection with King David and so doesn’t satisfy the Old Prophesies. Please men of the cloth (not women as the bible considers you second class citizens) solve this for me.

Nowhere in the bible does it say that women are second class. So I'm going to answer your question. Isaiah 7:14 uses the word "Almah" which refers to a virgin, or an unmarried young woman who was expected to be a virgin until after she was married. Read the Hebrew. Even if it didn't mean virgin (which it does) Mary was young (She was about 12) so it still fulfills prophecy. Also the geneologies follow each parent. One genealogy follows Joseph's line and the other follows Mary's. They are not contradicting. Oh and you should read this part:

Matthew 1:6 and Jesse the father of King David. David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah's wife.

You have hit the nail on the head! Even the Dead Sea Scrolls state that the Messiah will be born of a "young woman." No mention of virginity whatsoever. And the lineage to King David? Spot on!

What if we had the ability to go back in time and bring with us the modern medical technology that we enjoy today? We could solve this problem by taking a sample of Mary's amniotic fluid then analyze the developing fetus' DNA.

Does the developing fetus only carry Mary's genetic gift with the other half of the equation being some material we've never seen before? Or does it in fact contain Joseph's DNA as well?

This would make for an interesting short story!

you're dead right. In any case, the prophecy was (is) for someone of Bethlehem. Jesus was only born there but he's J of Nazareth so again, he ain't it.
Joseph (if he was the real father) is unlikely to be of the house of david also because it was the royal line (kings and high priests) and probably didn't include peasant carpenters in its number.

So, if dad was the rapist (sorry angel) Gabriel, he ain't of David's house. Mary wouldn't be counted since the house descended through the male line, unlike the religious affiliation which was/is through the female line.

Looks like the Jews have got it right, still waiting for Moshiach.

Oh yes, the virgin bit. Yeah, young (prepubertal) girl but in this context, a virgin CAN get pregnant since the first menstrual period (the sign of puberty) comes at the END of the first ovulation cycle. Therefore the 1st egg was fertilized and lo and behold, a virgin in the pudding club. In addition, there was/is suspicion about a rape by a roman legionary. Sounds likely.

If you're using the correct information, you should have no trouble discovering a bloodline for the Blessed Virgin Mary that goes back to the kingly line of David, as well as the Levitical line of priests.

And since Jesus Christ is both our heavenly King and our eternal High Priest, that works for me.

Without going into Biblical proof, which you may reject, how about this? God created Adam, from whom King David must have descended, so there's a "blood-line" from God, through Adam to King David.
God also "created" the human being Jesus and moreover became as one with the flesh. Therefore the same blood-line is maintained.

Every woman who conceives for the first time conceives as a virgin only. no women is born married or unchaste or lready pregnant in a society where there is free sex and sex i snot an offence as in the eastern countreas and where there are young single motheres and girls are hadrly inexperienced in sex , it ishould be absurd to think that a lady who is also married should have become pregnant without union with a male .and should hae been concieved by some spirit. such supernatural concocted stories are there in all cilizations in ancient times when people did not have as much intelligence as to day . when people in these days of advanced level of intelligence are themselves unable to reason, noi wonder the people of the ancient times believed follie easily. in the hindu epic mahabharatha , the princess Kunti Devi is supposed tohave become pregmnant due to the grace of Gods , like te Sun , Indira ( the king of the abode of Gods), Vayu ( the God of the Winds), etc by prayer . niether the Sun , nor the imaginary aaKing of the Celestail abode of the gods , nor the God of the winds existed as human bveings to impregnate some woman. Such divine miracles . if they have happened in those ancient times , much more things could happen in these advanced age .All these people should have been impregnated by some body whom they could not reveal for fear of punishment and so attributed divine miracles to thier pregnancies . Since the babies born of such pregnancies were belieed to be of divine origin by the innocent people around , they ahve naturally been groomed in to something special .That is all. nothing would eve happen against nature and nothing is more powerful than nature .Nature needs no driver or drover.

Who presented Jesus at the temple?

The traditional statements at Jesus' circumcision likely included, "...and let his name be called in Israel Yeshua, son of Yosef." Joseph was his LEGAL father, the person through whom his genealogy would be given. Luke the MD knew the meaning of "parthenon" and used it accurately.

Your understanding of the Bible is incorrect.
You need the Spirit of God to understand the Bible, because He reveals the truth of God's Word - the real meaning to us who believe.
