the carlton draught tv commercials in australia are getting weirder and weirder. i could deal with the business executives carrying canoes around the office, i could deal with the 1000's of people forming beer going into someone's mouth from a helicopter view in the sky, but a flashdance parody where the dude splashes beer in his face?

i think flash beer might be a little on the absurd side.

Well that's the advertising over there is it? Mind you if you look at advertising anywhere it is so wierd and getting wierder. I'm glad I haven't got an effin tele at home. The amount of c rap on it, even the supposedly must see stuff. Remember too much TV is adding to the greenhouase effect NYAAAAR

But you remember it, therefore it's effective marketing. You may not ever buy it, but you'll talk about how wierd the commercials are to others, thus spreading the word...odds are good that somebody in that path of storytelling might buy one out of curiosity...success!!!

It's like with the songs you hear on the radio...the ones you hate somehow stick in your head better than the ones you like.
