I like Tigi Catwalk Fashionista (thats good for colored hair) Also Paul Mitchell Skinny Hair is awesome but you have to use a very small amount and its not really a daily shampoo...
as far as cheapo stuff Garnier Fructis is the best that I've found...

I love L'oreal, Garniere, Pantene and Shauma. Results will always fade because your hair gets accustomed to the products. That's why I always use these 4 brands, but I never wash my hair twice with the same one. I provide it with variety. I use the same shampoo after a while.
PS try using herbal packs and leave them sit on you all night. Wash them first thing tomorrow. They will constantly repair your damaged hair until you take them off. If you can, don't use dryer. It damages hair and makes it fly all around. Use liquid crystals. That makes hair reeeeally shiny. I even blinded few guys when sun reflected it's beams on my hair. :)) LOL

I love the Dove Advanced Therapy for damaged hair. I have tried every shampoo out there and I looooove this one! It's the one in the blue bottle (don't get the ones in the white bottles-no good!) This shampoo also got good ratings on make up alley.com!

Stay away from things such as Fructis and Pantene - they are very good at making the hair shine but cover the hair shaft in silicone - my hairdresser had to scrape it off my hair - it became so badly coated!

go natural and use the liquid stored in a Pine Cone Ginger flower. The natural soap like liquid was used by native Americans for eons before the Indians were killed off by the rest of us.

In my opinion the best shampoo and conditioner set is FAST (Fortified Amino Scalp Therapy). It nourishes your hair, leaving it healthy and strong.

Yes MOP or Aveda, can get both on QVC website, they are fab. I havent used high street shampoos for years and recommend these to loads of people. MOP is cheaper and last forever!
