The opposite of a Christian?
Someone who says he judges people, but actually doesn't.
Someone who claims to hate people, but actually loves them.
Someone who claims to use emotional, irrational thinking, but who is actually a very rational person.
Someone who says he never forgives people, but who shows mercy all the time.
THAT is the opposite of a Christian.
I wonder if giving me the "thumbs down" counts as judging me. I think it does, and I suspect all those "judge not, lest you be judged" christians are the ones who gave them to me. Thank you for proving my point!

Well, Satanism is basically a religion based on being anti-religion. They deny God and Satan and every thing else in the bible (especially sin), yet they have some very humanistic values and philosophies. Satanism as a religion was created to be the opposite of Christianity. They deny faith and worship. So there is no Devil worshipers in Satanism since they believe in vital existence and trusting your natural instincts rather than a Deity's.
Atheism is not a religion. It is actually just the belief that there is no God. So Satanists are mainly atheists with a religion.

Neither. There are similarities between Satanists and Christians though. I won't get into it here as it would spark a debate.

Strictly speaking, a Satan-worshiper. After all, Satan is the "adversary" of God, at least in the Hebrew tongue.
So, one who worships God's opposite would be the opposite of one who worships God.
I indicate Satan-worshiper. There is also the Church of Satan satanism. It was devised to oppose Christianity, but it oppose any irrational belief system. Striclty opposites? Pretty close. Close enough that someone could reasonably call them opposites.
Now, an atheist being the opposite of Christian? I can't even see that. That is like looking at the adjectives, far and near, and wondering if white is the opposite of far.
Atheism is simply not having a belief in a divine spirit. It is the default state of people, if you will. Definitely not the opposite of Christianity or any specific religion. By definition, atheism is the opposite of theism.
