Why should everyone else that came after them be condemned because of two people. Don't you think a just God would judge everyone on their own merits? The concept of original sin as taught by Catholocism is beyond my comprehension.

It's far more comprehensible when you start with the theory that the bible is the creation of MEN, not GOD -- with Original Sin, everyone starts out in a position of OWING god, and by proxy, the Church. You need THEM in order to avoid hell, and they're only going to be able to help you if you come to their sermons and listen to THEIR version of the truth; and once they've got you sucked in, they start laying the high-pressure guilt trip....THEN they start passing around the collection plate.

As someone much wiser than myself once said: when in doubt, FOLLOW THE MONEY; and when they insist that it's not about the money, it is ALWAYS about the money.

I know very little about the teachings of the Catholics. I do not believe it is based on the truth of the Bible. However, I will tell you what I know. Actions have consequences and some laws are universal--set in motion by God before the creation of Adam and Eve. One of these laws as stated in the Bible is the law that like produces like, so an apple seed only produces an apple. As long as Adam remained a perfect man, his offspring would also be perfect. Also in the garden of Eden, the man and woman had only one rule or law. They were to leave one tree out of all the garden alone. The consequences for disobedience were clear--if they ate of it, they would surely die. So, because they did, they died to God spiritually at that moment and physically before the end of one of God's days (1,000 years) but, also, they became sinful rather than perfect. Now, their children would inherit genetically the sin and imperfection which would eventually lead to death for them physically as well. Lovingly, God immediately made a provision to rescue them from both these things. (Genesis 3:15) He would provide a ransom for them to rescue them from both sin and death. This he did, through his son, Jesus Christ. No where does the Bible condone or say that God burns his children alive in fire--no matter how disobedient they may be. No where does it say that hell is where Satan is--in fact, the Bible tells us that Satan was thrown down to earth (cast out of heaven) with all his demons and that he is confined here and really angry about his plight. Since 1914 we have seen all the bad effects of his anger.

He has no choice. His holiness does not allow unrighteousness in His presence. That is why He sent the Word to redeem us.

In the beginning the Word already existed. He was with God, and he was God. He was in the beginning with God. He created everything there is. Nothing exists that he didn't make. Life itself was in him, and this life gives light to everyone. The light shines through the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.
John 1:1-5

The covenant headship of Adam:

The Scriptures tell us, "The first man, Adam, became a living person." But the last Adam--that is, Christ--is a life-giving Spirit.
What came first was the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later. Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven.
1st Corinthians 15:45-47

Individual responsibility:

If I warn the wicked, saying, 'You are under the penalty of death,' but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible, demanding your blood for theirs.
If you warn them and they keep on sinning and refuse to repent, they will die in their sins. But you will have saved your life because you did what you were told to do.
If good people turn bad and don't listen to my warning, they will die. If you did not warn them of the consequences, then they will die in their sins. Their previous good deeds won't help them, and I will hold you responsible, demanding your blood for theirs. But if you warn them and they repent, they will live, and you will have saved your own life, too."
Ezekiel 3:18-21

In a quote from my religion:

"We believe that men will be punished for their own sins and not for Adam's transgression."

Because of what Adam and Eve did, we became mortal and imperfect. Susceptible to sin. But their disobedience was their sin. A loving God won't punish everyone else for that. We will be judged on what we do. That's what I believe anyway.

God never condemned anyone.

This philosophy was revealed by God to the simple, unintelligent people of middle east 2000 years ago.

It might have been necessary to tell them such fairy tales so as to bring them on true path

The problem arises when such childish tales are supported by an advanced race in 21st centuries....and Jim Darwins are created to counter attack

No. We will be judged of our own sins and not the transgression of Adam and Eve. They, our first parents, transgressed one conflicting commandment, but kept and honored the first that God gave them--which was to multiply and replenish the earth.

This makes no sense at all, like much or all of the Bible. Do I hate all Africans because 3 of them tried to mug me once? Do I hate all Jews because one said sarcastic things to me once? Do I hate all Frenchmen because a waiter was rude once? Do I hate all women because my oldest sister insults me? I'd be illogical or even psychotic if I did any of these things. Someone who condemns all humans because two of them disobeyed him is titanically psychotic. We should lock him in the nut ward and have psychiatrists try to help him.

God does judge everyone on their own sin. Adam and Eve were just the first ones to sin. God sent Jesus Christ to die for us to SAVE us from our sins. So all that we have to do is accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and our sins are forgiven. He provided that way.
