It depends on your hair. If you have dry hair, you shouldn't wash it evetyday. But if you have greasy hair then you can wash it everyday.

I personally wash my hair every other day. That is only because my hair is really fine and if I wash it everyday it will have this greasy feeling to it. and my hair will get extremely frizzy.
I would advise you to maybe contact a hair stylist and just ask them how long you should wash your hair for and whether or not you should wash it everyday or every other day.
But I dont see you washing your hair everyday a bad thing.

Ideally, you should wash your hair every other day. This allows your natural oils to replenish your hair and prevents damage from too much product.
However, this isn't practical for a lot of people. If you have overly oily hair or use a lot of styling products, I think you should wash every day or your hair will just feel (and look) nasty on the second day.
But, if you have very long hair, you should wash it every other day or you will cause too much damage.

I have heard this question asked so many times and a lot of mistakes are being made. Just how often should you wash your hair... daily, every other day, weekly?
Believe it or not, if you can go weekly, you are giving your hair a treat. There is one exception however... very fine hair.
Unless your hair is very fine and gets oily very quickly, try not to wash your hair too often. The natural oil working its way down the strands is actually healthy.

It's not very healthy to wash your hair everyday because it removes some of the natural nutritious oils in your hair because it's quite tough on the strands.
If you have greasy hair though you should really wash your hair often. I have quite greasy hair and I was my hair every other day but you shouldn't use conditioner because that makes it even worse.
If you feel you HAVE to wash your hair everyday then use something like pantene pro-v the new ice shine one which is really good!

It doesn't matter HOW long you wash your hair. Just make sure that you get all of the soap out, and keep in mind that shampoo can be drying, so if you wash it for too long, you could possibly dry out your hair, causing breakage. I am black, and of course we don't wash our hair everyday, but my best friend is white and she washes her hair daily. Do what works for you!

The more you wash your hair the more quickly it will become greasy as you can over stimulate glands under the skin which produce oil.
I know it sounds gross but its good to give your hair a break for a few days sometimes & the natural oil acts like a conditioner so its lovely & soft when you wash it again!

I'm not a girl but i'll give it a go anyway!
Theres nothing wrong with washing it every day if you use a decent shampoo and conditioner. I would say that washing every other day is acceptable but longer than that will cause problems.

I usually wash my hair everyday unless I straighten it. If I straighten itm I can go 3 days without washing my hair (my hair stays pretty clean & its more dry than oily). Washing your hair everyday CAN dry it out. It is actually healthy to go a few days without washing it. Plus, you're hair will definetly thank you for it.
Or you could wash it everyday, just be sure to use a PH balanced shampoo if you're that worried about it.

It really depends on the hair products and hair itself. If your hair tends to stay dry, a daily moisturizing shampoo and conditioner is a good switch. But if your hair stays oily and you're already using daily moisturizing, wash every other day, or switch to a different product.
Hope I helped!

ideally you should wash it like 3 times a week.
it will be kind of greasy at first (as you wash it so much right now) but it will chill out in a couple of weeks.... so i would recommend that you wear it up or back to make it look less icky...
ultimately the condition of your hair will be improved...
(i once was getting my hair cut at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon in NY and the stylists were like handling each others hair and bragging about how long it had been since they washed it)
