It will be hard. It is all up to you if you want to do it. Do not make him force you into it though. I would leave him though. Not because he wants to be celebate but because he read the bible and decided to do it. Being celebate should not be based on religious beliefs.

I would laugh at him.. then dump him then go marry someone else. If he can be influenced by a fairy tale then he should be locked up for his own safety.

If you are not married, that is a good choice.
It will increase the chances of a potential marriage with him by 50%.
You have found a moral guy, don't dump him and then ask. "Where are all the great guys and how do I meet one?"

It's admirable that he wants to practice celibacy, but even in doing that, it doesn't mean his soul is saved. Righteousness comes through faith, not works.
