I think we need to give the best answer to novangelis for salpingooophorectomy - truly a phenomenal word. There are some weaker hyphenated examples using words like "cross" (cross-stitch, cross-section, cross-subsidise) and "full" (full-length)

i think of there are phonotactics regulations combating that. i understand of an Estonian be conscious that repeats an identical letter 4 situations, yet to be honest, they are 2 separate phonemes. you will not see 5 letters, or maybe 3, in a row in English any time quickly.

If there are, it'd be a loan word. I have seen a few in German with three letter in a row, but they are usually compound words.

The word 'bookkeeper' is the most famous example.
Edit - Didn't read the question carefully. My answer is - only expressions such as 'Aaaaaaa!' have letters repeated more than twice.

I really don't think so, but if you were to write colloquially, then it would be different!
How would you write, "Mmm"
Or, "Yucckkhh"!
