Watch V for Vendetta and you'll realize anything is possible.

Not Just wikkas, Muslims or Jews but EVERYTHING

We are the country that enslaved millions of people, that have killed and segregated tens of millions of Native Americans, that have attacked people for their race, religion and political thought.

Sure that was a while ago. But remember we are a democracy. The majority agreed with slavery then so the majority could agree with anything now.

And let's not forget the majority of slaves were Muslim and they were all forced to become Christian. Only a small minority of African Americans are Muslim today (and most are converts/came from Africa).

If certain people have their way, it may be happening sooner than you think. There has been a drive, of late, to make Christianity the "official" religion of America. In fact, I've actually heard it said that if you don't believe in God, you need to leave our country!

What most people don't realize is that it doesn't stop there. Okay, say that all religions except Christianity are abolished (just as an example, I'm not intending to pick on the Christians here). How many different sects of Christianity are there?

Let's see, we have the Amish, the Anabaptism, Assemblies of God, Baptists, Calvinism, Christadelphians, the Christian Identity, the Church Universal and Triumphant, the Church of Christ, the Church of England, Congregationalism, Coptic Christianity, Eastern Orthodox, the Episcopal Church, Ethiopian Christianity,
the IURD, Jehovah's Witnesses, the Lutheran Church, the Maronites, the Mennonites, Methodism, the Old Catholic Movement, the Pentecostal Church, the People's Temple, the Pilgrims, the Presbyterian Church, Protestant, Puritanism, the Quakers, Roman Catholicism, the Shakers, Spiritual Baptists, Thomas Christians, the Unification Church, Unitarianism, the United Church of Christ, and Unitarian Universalist.

So now we're all Christian and everyone is happy, right?

How long will it be before the Roman Catholics (for example) decide that theirs is the only "true" way to salvation? Who might disagree? Now witness the factions turn against one another as readily as they did other beliefs until, in the end, only one stands triumphant. Only now, having eliminated all false beliefs are we truly united under one banner.

Think I'm exaggerating? Think it can't happen?

Take a look at the Middle East, where even now, Islam is fighting to dominate the world.

well the Fundy Evangelicals would just love for America to become a Christian theocracy which is why they've been making inroads into politics for decades seeking to enforce Christian dogma as the law of the land. however, there are far too many folks of other faiths and beliefs (or lack thereof) and moderate Christians would not be tolerated under a Christiban rule so the Fundy Evangelicals and their toady politicians won't get away with it without causing a violent rift in the American citizenry. they still might try it but the American citizenry is well armed.

Of course they can. And have been.

Native Americans were prohibited from continuing their practices for all intent and purposes.

African slaves were forced to convert to Christianity.

Mormons practiced polygamy until the US federal government declared war on them. After which, they abandoned polygamy and became a state under threat of being subjected to a military governor if they did not comply.

The Civil War caused southern people to change their religious practices.

The US federal government is more about restricting freedom than protecting freedom.

The Bible says that God will put it into the minds of all the governments to close all of the false religions. This is the first visible act of Armegeddon for those of us on earth. So, it will happen world wide, not just in America.

Yes and not just in America, but the whole world. During the great tribulation, the Antichrist will set up a one world religion and no others will be tolerated.
