yes. you can hook your video up with svideo (i think) cables into the back of the computer. you will need a video capture card (which aren't too expensive these days) and off you go. it will take up a lot of space on your hard drive, so you will most likely want to get an external harddrive (eg Lacey 80gig+ ) to store it all. also have some dvds on hand to save them onto as soon as you can. enjoy!

yep. will cost you between $40 and $100. go to www.epinions.com and search on "dazzle". I am using the Dazzle PVC 80 right now while I am typing this to upload some old compact VHS of my kids to the PC for DVD burning.
