I agree with Chicky, and the point she made.
Edit: In response to your second question, gay marriage doesn't infringe upon anyone. People are just using that as an excuse. Until the lawmakers in this country learn to see the country's population as people rather than votes, gay marriage will continue to be illegal/wrong/immoral/.
There's really nothing wrong with anyone's race, sexual preference, religion, etc. But those in public office think more of their own interests than they do the interests of the people they represent.

Gay marriage is wrong by definition.
Gays can live together, and be committed.
But do not call it a marriage. marriage was invented by certain (most) cultures and is the exclusive domain of heterosexual orientation.
Gays have human rights, but they don't get to join all the clubs, some are exclusive.
I can not join the girl guides, I do not qualify. That does not make the girl guides prejudiced or bigoted.
I also can not marry my daughter or three women simultaneously or a goat. That does not make society evil for infringing my rights.
Individual rights only go so far as to not infringe on the majority.
That is how democracy works.
Forcing people to live with the minority opinion is not democratic.

Because marriage is a religious institution where mainstream Christians, Jews and Muslim see homosexuality as a major sin.
When the majority of the world sees "gay" as wrong, do you really expect gay marriage to be right?

Because it is against the word of God. & marriage is a Holy thing,, for reproduction. & how can 2 lesbians or 2 gays say they can repopulated this earth, don't come up with this Seed cell thing from a man to a woman through a test tube, That is also unscripture.

It isn't wrong and it isn't the place of government to determine who can and can't enter into marriage unless they are too young to make decisions for themselves.

It's not. If homosexuals want to suffer that same torture just like heterosexuals do, I say let them. ;-)

Any two people who wish to commit themselves to each other for life should be able to do so.
