I don't "really" know why or how come, because I'm not your doctor. But when I started having the same problem, this is what I did. I decided to start adding on an hour of sleep I get each night, and at first it took practice. Then I decided to walk at "least" a mile every evening before going to bed. And last but not least, I start taking vitamin
B50. Yeah, every morning now I have a bowl of oatmeal /raisins, and a vitamin B50. It is great to be awake! Any vitamin B makes your energy level rise, and it's natural, so it's not like you're going to fail a drug test
because of it. And again, make sure you eat something before you take that vitamin, or you can get a little bit sick to your stomach. Okay? Hope this helped you.

That was the story of my life when I first came to the USA. I slept in the train standing, at my desk sitting and sometimes a quick nod in the shower. My body was adjusting to a very busy routine and four hours of less sleep. My boss caught me several times ..he would say Rafael ! wake up !! I think I almost got fired.. Luckily he transferred me to a busier office.. There was no time for a quick nod.
Anyways some sleep disorders need professional attention, so just be conscious of how much this is affecting you and what needs to be don medically..

You have a sleeping disorder, it might be anything from not sleeping right to a serious health problem, you need to go to see a sleep specialist, and I don't mean a Serta salesman. The link bellow goes to a site that lists information and terms on sleeping and gives links to specialists.

Me too, but I'm pregnant so I have an excuse. Maybe you are anemic and need more iron. Or some other medical condition. Do you sleep at night? If not there is your answer♥

When you say "I keep falling asleep" does that include night time? Cuz there's a chance you fall asleep at work because you stay up all night!

Get your blood checked.
You may be lacking in certain vitamins if your diet is not sufficient enough.
Vitamin D defiency will make you "sleep" a lot.
I wish you well..
