I was very much like that at one point. What you gotta do is concentrate on you and being the best person you can be. Treat yourself well and love yourself. If you like who you are you start to realize that when people say mean things it is ALWAYS because they don't like who they are and are more than likely jealous of you and want to bring you down in order to make themselves feel better. When you really start realizing that it won't hurt nearly as bad. Really insults are compliments in a way. Something about you interests them, stirs them, makes them think of you and provoke emotion. If they didn't care at all they wouldn't waste breath being mean to you.
Basically live well. Eat good, excercise, educate yourself, get hobbies and be as nice to everyone as you can. Living well is THE best revenge!

There is a book called the "The Four Agreements", it is a very short and easy read, very powerful and addresses this very subject.
One of the agreements is "Do not take others personally", when you do you run the risk of being hurt.
The book fully explains why it is NOT a good idea to take others personally, I hope you give it a read.
It helped me tremendously in dealing with the "pain" that other people seemed to bring about.
Peace.

I think the more people **** on you the stronger you get. Sometimes you just have to take charge and be strong. But then being a loving and sensitive person isnt a bad thing you know

You choose how you feel and what you think of yourself. If you feel hurt that means you are feeling low or less of. Realizing that when people are mean, it is just becuase they are insecure or in a bad place.
When you get your heart broken, it should hurt a little, but don't judge yourself about it. It doesn't make you less of a person, it is hard to accept sometimes, but you are in charge of your happiness, not the people you care about.

Your doing exactly that and unfortunately it will change you. When you get hurt enough the barriers will go up and you will eventually be stronger.

Get rid of the people in your life that hurt you, and are unsupportive. If they bring you pain do you really even need them?
