yes, paedophilia is always wrong. the victims of it are people who usually don't even understand what's happening or why. someone who is attracted to children is really outside normal sexual parameters and if you're asking because you're experiencing this, then you need to seek help as soon as possible. maybe you can never change the way you feel, but you need to be aware of the repercussions of a sexual relationship on a child. if you're asking purely out of curiosity, then there's lots of information on the internet about the consequences of paedophilia on the victims, as well as a lot of information about paedophiles - profiles, interviews and life stories. some of the things that a paedophile thinks will make you shake your head in disbelief.

Somebody has responded with a definition of the term.

Now at the extremely high risk of being misunderstood and HATED for this, attraction to pre-pubescent children is not usual or "normal", (since sexual attraction is, in all species, is designed to secure procreation and perpetuation of the species and therefore is the province of the sexually mature, by definition,) but it is only if and when that attraction is converted into action that it becomes abusive and really, completely utterly wrong in anybody's book.
But it's not a new thing. I refer you to Nabokov - "Lolita"?

Btw, I have 3 daughters. I need you to understand that I would, in no sense, condone any abuse of children or vulnerable people.

Why would you ask such a vile question. Of course it wrong on so many levels and the only reason I can think of that you would ask this question is that you are trying to justify something that you maybe doing or thinking about doing.....sick

absolutely! I know first hand how it destroys a person in so many ways.Children do not reach sexual maturity for a REASON and when their body's do there brains have not. Hell I know adults who get messed up by sexual relationships and there is no excuse acceptable for this behaviour even if you have been a victom,It is an absolutely appalling crime that effects many generations to come...it is the cycle of abuse perpetuated.

Hi yes of course it is. Its disgusting how can anyone not see it as wrong. You may need to rethink your question. If you can think of a reason why it may not be seen as wrong then you may have a problem yourself. Or you dont full understand what one is.

Pedophila means: being sexually attracted (primarily or exclusively) to prepubescent or peripubescent children.

I'm not sure if this is a trick question but it's obvioulsy wrong unless you are a prepubescent or peripubescent child.

Yes, it is a terrible thing to thrust your unhealthy desires on someone else. I promise they don't want it like you try to delude your self in to thinking they do.
