No guy is interested in a serious long-term relationship until he is at least 25. Simple fact that women ignore at their peril. Accept it and meet some other guys.

It sounds like you met up with the wrong guy. There are some users out there. The younger you are the less likely you are to find a guy that's going to want a long lasting relationship. That's just the way some guy's minds work. But you shouldn't take it personal. It actually has nothing to do with you and everything to do with him and needing to mature. You said you didn't give into him....good for you! You have self respect. Never compromise that for a guy. You'll end up hurt and feeling used in the end. Much worse than you feel now. What I tell my girls is that you have to take care of yourself first. Get through school, college. Make something of yourself. Focus on what makes you happy and what you want out of life. There's much more to life than guys. If you don't feel that way then you might want to look at the reasons why you don't feel like a complete person without a guy. Loss of a father figure in the home? It takes an average of 18 months for all the googly feelings to leave a relationship. That's when the real relationship begins. It doesn't quite feel the same as all of the butterflies and excitement. If he's a good friend and you have plenty in common then the relationship could last. There's a reason for everything in life. This one wasn't worth the rest of your life. Fortunately you discovered that before making a lifetime commitment. I've been married for 16 years and there's one thing I've learned through the years. Be picky. You have to live with him, good or bad. And if he cheats then he will more than likely cheat. Whatever he annoys you with, it will be 100 times worse. Guys can be insensitive and selfish. But don't think that it's all of them. You do have to weed out the bad ones to get to the good though. You're worth the best. You'll find him when you least expect it.

Cheating is a very touchy subject. Not really sure how old you are but it sounds like you are young. Puberty is a tough thing. Honestly I have been in your shoes a couple of times in my life and I have come to this conclusion, Men cheat either because they are bored with their current relationship, found someone more to their liking or simply out of selfishness. Did u ever hear the expression a stiff **** has no conscious? In the heat ofa moment they aren't thinking about your feelings they are thinking with the wrong muscle. Just know this...Don't blame yourself, if your not ready then you should be commended for your choice BRAVO!!!! If he thought so little of you that he could cheat on you, better to find out now then when you are living with him and expecting his child. Move on and find someone who will wait and respect you.

Hmmmm. rash generalization. Being a male myself, aged 18, I would know not to do that. I think the problem is in how he was raised. I was raised to view women as more than potential offspring carriers, much more. Having 3 brothers and my mom the only lady in the house, we learned quickly to respect women as people, not as objects. So before you assume all guys are like this, look for us who aren't!

Most females desire partners for companionship; most males are driven by sex. It's part of their genetic makeup. Think about the difference between reproduction: females produce one egg per month; males produce billions of sperm per month. They are also able to produce offspring for many years longer than females. It's just part of who they are, and as long as women know this, they can make appropriate decisions.

Why do girls cheat? It's far more disgusting when a girl cheats cause she has to give her self to that guy emotionally as well.
