I would say that Santa's story makes more sense.
And I would not be surprised if, a thousand years from now, if our records were somehow distorted/destroyed (due to the holy WWIII we're headed for), there will be people worshipping Santa Claus, and praising he and his elves for the good tidings they bring to mankind.
And they will say to the nonbelievers... "It's not about the Santa religion... it's about your personal relationship with him. And I feel him around me all the time."

Santa is not real as Jesus. Santa originated from human wisdom while Jesus came from God. While Santa brings presents that are ephemeral (temporal), Jesus brings presents(salvation, joy, peace, happiness, life etc) that are everlasting. While Jesus Christ died and ressurected, when Santa dies, he cannever resurrect. Jesus Christ is coming to take the elects, His followers to heaven while Santa does not have any place for his followers.

Which Santa? I believe that Strega Nona gives the best gifts, but then again most people today don't want fruit & candy.

Look up Saint Nicholas my friend, he was a real person. But he only delivered presents to one small town, and he did die.
