If you're not looking for a purebred cat, your local animal shelter is a fantastic place to get one. With so many puppy and kitten mills breeding and selling sick animals, the shelter offers healthy animals that need good homes.

I'm curious why you want a polydactyl cat, but I'm thinking, a Manx with slightly oversized feet would look so cute. It would probably look more like a Lynx than a non-polydactyl Manx.

I had a tabby manx several years ago who lived to be a ripe old age. He just had the usual number of toes, though. I wish you luck in your search. He was a very nice puss.

ps. I just had another thought. Have you checked the Cat Fancier magazine or the Cat Fancier Assoc on line?

try going to www.faunaclassifieds.com and go to the mammal secition near the bottom. They have a large selection of the more exotic pets.
