click on you picture so you profile comes up then go to edit profile and then it give you three options for pics 1 no pic 2 something 360 and 3 avatar, click on edit avatar and put one together

I'm pretty sure you're talking about an Avatar? Go to Avatars on Yahoo and they show you how to set up a picture whenever you sign in..it will also show up in Yahoo answers. You can create a face using hair, clothing, hats, skin color, etc..pretty fun!

avatars have become so common that they dont best express you now i think ur best pics wuld be tha bump
just scan your pics then click on the avatar icon then upload your pic s its great fun

There r two options with u.
Either to use ur pic or use ur avatar. If u want to use ur avatar. Visit http://avatar.yahoo.com Make ur avatar there and save it. Or u bring the icon of avatar on ur yahoo toolbar. To do so cilck the pencil, select personal options, select add edit button and check the box of avatar and then click finished. It will bring the icon of avatar on ur yahoo toolbar which can be used by u anytime as per ur convenience.
Secondly, to use a pic, u need to hv 360 page. Visit http://360.yahoo.com to create ur 360 page and upload ur photo there. Make sure that u set ur photo to be primary photo which u want to use on yahoo answers. After doing these things, come back on ur yahoo answers profile. Here u click edit info and then click either the circle of using ur pic or the circle of using ur avatar. Now click the preview and save. It will solve ur problem.
Besides above two U hv any one of the following options also.
