My Godmother and mother met this guy and told them he would be great for me. They got his card and number. He saw a picture of me and said he would like to talk to me. This was a couple of months ago, what do i say? Should i text him or email him my number instead?

My Mother and Godmother were out of town and met this guy. They talked for about an hour or so, and he basically told his whole life story. My godmother knows my type. They didn't give my number to him, but instead got his card for me.

As it will be the first time meeting him for yourself...i would arrange to have lunch out with your mum and godmother..then text him to ask if he would like to join yous for lunch...just tell him, it would be a good thing to do to get to meet each other.....no embarrassment or danger that way......during the course of lunch, if you like each other, then make a future date arrangement..ok...good luck...

Ask your Godmother and mother why he hasn't contacted you yet since he wants to talk! Let them work this out since they started it! They should introduce the two of you, Ask them why they haven't!

I would email him and just explain to him what happened. Explain to him that you are nervous about letting mom and grandma play match maker but that you are willing to give it a shot if he wants to meet up sometime. Don't be too pushy but leave it open so that way it still looks like he is in charge of the situation.

Don't be shy. Call him up and explain who you are. Ask to meet him in a neutral public place for coffee and see if you want to explore a relationship. Don't give him your personal information until you've met him. Have fun. Even if he doesn't turn out to be boyfriend material, he could be friend material and maybe he has some friends you'd like to date.

Well 1st of all ,your mother and god mother and mother seeing the guy is fine. you respecting that is also fine but have 'YOU' seen the guy?. What i would suggest is that the 2 of you chat for a while and see how you like each other and your points of view on various things and thenif the 2 of you get along , GO FOR IT!! .

Why you wait so long? He probably has a g/f by now. But text him any and see what happens. Refresh his memory by saying a few months ago, two older ladies approached him and showed him a picture of you. He might remember you by then, so just start asking him about himself.

DO IT! If you dont want to give his number to me and I'll do it for you. I love little butterfly stories like this its so cool. Worse case scenario, you dont like him you go your separate ways and you gave it a shot anyway. If you dont I reckon it'll be one of those "whats if" of life. What do u have to lose, it could be well worth ur time. Good luck, n tell me how it all goes if u can.

Yeah, text is better at first. I'd be real leery of giving out my number, address, etc. to someone I don't know anything about yet.
