My understanding is that one should never have 2 dogs from the same littler- I think it has to do with the dominance factor as well as if they should mate. I am assuming you are getting both or one fixed.
Dog training will help with both of them although you would need an extra person to work with one of the dogs. then when you are in training talk to the trainer. they can give you tips and advice on their personalities, a cockers traits and how to handle any problems that may arise.
Good Luck!
We have two lab mix dogs- each raised a year apart- it wasn't easy: )

My cocker spaniel is named toby.

To raise him we went through basic obedience training - a fact he likes to forget often.

The great thing about cocker spaniels is that they are social. Your dogs will get along with each other well. Be prepared for some barking - they protect their property, owners and anything they can see from their homes. Toby protects an open field some 200 meters away - anyone walking through it gets barked at and probably can't even hear it!

Because they are a social breed they will accept you as their pack leader. They will cry without you. Be strong and lock them outside when you are not home, and for an hour every day whilst you are. That will teach them it is ok to be away from you. At night, I had toby on the floor next to me, but he would not sleep without a hand on him for the first two weeks. Then he was ok with a hot water bottle and a clock.

He attached himself to a teady bear, and after 7 years, it is still in perfect condition and never leaves his mouth. He protects it.

If you treat your puppies like they were your children then you can not do wrong by them. Be firm on them, but kind. Never smack them or chase them, but they will cower if you make a big noise and learn they were wrong. You are the boss make it clear - but never with violence!

Good luck I hope your dogs are as good as my toby has been for me.

Give them exercise discipline and affection. Always use a good quality puppy food fresh water and take them to a good vet for check ups and shots. Let them be dogs and you are the pack leader and you will have 2 very happy healthy and sociable dogs.
